Manager, Supply Chain Business Partner

Overview The Manager, Supply Chain Business Partner supports the USA Foods & Beverage Ecosystem businesses, translating commercial strategy into supply chain outcomes for an assigned brand, category, or customer portfolio. The role orchestrates cross‑functional teams to ensure end‑to‑end supply readiness for new product launches, base business strategies, product/pack/portfolio changes, and capacity/ capability planning. Responsibilities Own day‑to‑day coordination of Food & Beverage Ecosystem launches, promotions, and portfolio changes from concept through post‑launch stabilization. Facilitate stage gate deliverables; ensure readiness across Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality, Procurement, and Customer Operations. Prepare inputs to S&OP/IBP for the Food and Beverage portfolio; ensure demand, supply, and financial alignment. Maintain a 12‑18 month look‑ahead for capacity signals with Supply and Production Planning; identify constraints and trigger options analysis. Support scenario planning (mix shifts, step‑ups, alternate pack/plant options) and document trade‑offs for leadership decisions. Serve as the primary day‑to‑day supply chain interface for Marketing, Sales, Finance, R&D, Packaging, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Customer Operations. Coordinate specifications, BOMs, routings, labeling/packaging readiness, and regulatory/quality requirements with functional owners. Support PMO with operating cadence (project stand‑ups, risk reviews, stakeholder updates) and publish clear action lists with owners. Leverage ERP and planning systems (SAP, IBP/APO) and advanced Excel/analytics to inform recommendations. Partner with Manufacturing (internal & contract) on timelines, MOQ/lead time, qualification activities, and change control for Food/Beverage items. Provide volume/mix forecasts and readiness inputs; support make‑vs‑buy and sourcing recommendations with data. Track partner readiness and elevate risks; final sourcing decisions remain with CM leadership. Partner with Network Optimization to provide portfolio inputs (demand signals, service targets, constraints) to network studies. Support implementation of network changes (item/plant moves, DC cutovers, inventory rebalancing) for the assigned portfolio. Coordinate change management, customer communication milestones, and cutover risk mitigation with functional owners. Drive continuous improvement and Lean/Six Sigma problem solving to reduce timeline slippage and variability. Contribute to the maturation of the commercialization pillar (tools, templates, best practices). Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, or Business. 5‑7+ years of supply chain experience in CPG or a high‑velocity environment, including commercialization/NPI exposure. Working knowledge of integrated planning, inventory management, manufacturing flow, logistics, and customer operations. Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to influence without formal authority. Proficiency with ERP and planning systems (e.g., SAP) and strong Excel/analytics skills. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills. Preferred Qualifications MBA or relevant advanced degree. APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent. Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or higher. Experience with S&OP/IBP processes. Salary & Benefits Annual salary range: $105,800 – $145,420.
