Registered Nurse – Vascular Transplant IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-operative care for vascular, kidney, and liver transplant patients in an intermediate care setting
• Perform hemodynamic and neurovascular assessments and monitor surgical sites for signs of bleeding, infection, or complications
• Evaluate graft function and monitor labs, urine output, fluids, and electrolytes
• Administer pain control, immunosuppressants, anticoagulation therapy, and IV therapies
• Identify and respond to complications including thrombosis, graft dysfunction, and rejection
• Float within specialty and to other units within scope as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN License or valid Compact License at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of IMC experience (hard requirement)
• Prior transplant experience required
• Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Familiarity with vascular, kidney, and liver transplant post-operative protocols
• CPI certification (Calm Every Storm online version accepted)
