JOB DESCRIPTION

The Warehouse Associate role supports daily warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, inventory handling, order picking, packing, and material staging for assembly. This is a hands-on, floor-level position responsible for executing tasks accurately, safely, and efficiently.

This position works closely with the Warehouse Lead and Warehouse Manager to maintain organization, inventory accuracy, and workflow throughout the facility.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform daily warehouse tasks: receiving, put-away, stocking, picking, kitting, packing and staging materials for assembly.
• Pull and prepare customer orders and internal jobs for shipment or assembly use.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks while verifying incoming and outgoing materials.
• Maintain organized bin locations, labeling, and proper material storage.
• Follow warehouse layout standards and support improvements when directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in alignment with 5S standards.
• Assist with cycle counts and report discrepancies to the Warehouse Lead or Manager.
• Safely operate forklifts and material-handling equipment according to company policy.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Communicate material shortages, damages, or issues to the Warehouse Lead or Manager.
• Work closely with Production, Assembly, and Shipping teams to ensure smooth material flow.
• Follow standard work instructions and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and support overall warehouse workflow.
• Perform all other duties as assigned to support company objectives and operations effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Required:

• 0–2 years of warehouse, manufacturing, or material-handling experience (entry-level candidates welcome).
• Ability to safely operate or learn to operate forklifts and material-handling equipment.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to read pick lists, labels, and work orders.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to commute or relocate to Bronson, MI.

Preferred:

• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience.
• Familiarity with basic inventory processes or cycle counting.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to sit, stand, and move about the facility.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, and move material or equipment as needed.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment with standard PPE.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Warehouse and shop-floor environment with exposure to noise, equipment, forklifts, tools, and varying temperatures.
