We are seeking a dedicated Appointment Scheduling Specialist to join a healthcare team serving the Midwest region. This part-time role focuses on managing patient appointment scheduling to ensure smooth operations and high satisfaction for both patients and providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily patient scheduling through phone, electronic systems, and face-to-face interactions with professionalism and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with the registration team to streamline check-in and check-out processes, enhancing patient experience and accuracy.
• Maintain clear and proactive communication with medical staff and supporting departments, promptly addressing any scheduling concerns.
• Manage the automated appointment reminder call program to reduce no-shows and improve patient engagement.
• Address requests, complaints, and communications courteously, exercising sound judgment and diplomacy.
• Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives to support organizational goals.
• Perform physical tasks required by the role and maintain consistent attendance.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; associate degree in business or healthcare-related field preferred.
• Proven problem-solving and planning abilities.
• Experience instructing both professional and non-professional personnel is a plus.
