Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery Duration: 12 months Shift: 19:00 - 07:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years License: RN license in Tennessee Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH Must-Have Skills/Experience: Highly motivated Teamwork Customer service Description: Providing quality health care to the local community for over 60 years. Employs more than 1,000 employees and 300 physicians. Fully accredited by national health board and governed by a local board of trustees. The facility is a 167-bed healthcare facility with Level III Trauma Center status. All clinical staff must be checked against the state abuse registry prior to assignment start date. Unit information includes 23 beds with patient ratios of 4-6:1. EHR system used is Meditech. Patient population includes geriatric, adult, and pediatric (ages 13 and older). Common diagnoses and treatments include post-operative joints, post-operative bariatric, post-operative gastrointestinal, and trauma patients. Personality fit requires being hardworking, willing to ask questions when in doubt, and possessing kindness and compassion. Required education is an Associate's Degree in Nursing. Dress code is scrubs in any color, with specific restrictions on unacceptable attire. No acrylic nails are permitted.
