Staff Accountant

We're hiring a Staff Accountant to support a growing political consulting and media firm operating across multiple entities and service lines. This role offers strong exposure to full-cycle accounting, reporting, and financial operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries across multiple entities
• Assist with monthly close, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes
• Process accounts payable and receivable with accuracy and timeliness
• Support budget tracking and expense analysis across business units
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and external reporting requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required

• 1-3 years experience in accounting or finance roles

• Familiarity with GAAP principles and basic financial reporting standards

• Experience with Excel and accounting software systems preferred

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment

Compensation:

Salary varies DOE, starting at $85k+ plus benefits
