Scheduling Specialist

Responsibilities:
• Schedule pick-up and delivery appointments in support of FST's Transportation Division
• Handle inbound calls from customers regarding various delivery questions and communicate promptly with Consignees and customers in response to potential transit delays
• You will meet and exceed productivity goals for operations to minimize miles, maximize volume, and reduce costs
• Maintain timely updates in freight movement system by actively entering pick-up and delivery data as well as maintain client relationships with suppliers and customers
• You will be held accountable to comply with all defined business process and the utilization of all technology platforms, as defined by FST

Requirements:

• Strong computer skills and excellent data entry
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and stay organized; quickly switching from task to task
• Ability to approach work independently and in a team environment with a solution-oriented mindset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• 1+ years' experience in an office environment with computer and phone etiquette
