Job Description
Longhorn Truck Repair is looking for a skilled and dependable Truck Mechanic to join our hardworking team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys keeping trucks in top condition. If you’re experienced in mechanical repair and preventative maintenance, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on semi trucks and trailers.
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake service, tire rotation, and fluid checks.
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical problems and complete repairs efficiently.
- Conduct post-repair test drives to ensure all issues are resolved.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
- Follow all company safety standards and guidelines.
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience with a background in truck repair and automotive diagnostics.
- Hands-on experience with fabrication, welding, electrical systems, hydraulics, and systems on trucks.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment for vehicle repair.
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.
- Bi-lingual is preferred
Compensation
- $23-$30/hour based on experience
- 1099 Position
