Resident AssistantWage: $19-21/hrResident Assistant Opportunities – Join Our Team!We are currently seeking compassionate, dependable Resident Assistants to join our team. We have multiple openings available with a variety of shifts and schedules:Part-Time: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PMPart-Time/Full Time: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PMPart-Time: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AMPRN: Pick up shifts as available, as you chooseShift DifferentialsPM Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM): Additional $0.50/hourOvernight Shift (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM): Additional $0.75/hourAs a Resident Assistant, you will provide personal care and related services to residents in accordance with their individualized service and care plans. You will work under the direction of the Healthcare Coordinator to help ensure our residents receive compassionate, respectful, and high-quality care in a safe and supportive environment.Certification as a Nurse Aide is preferred but not required. We are happy to consider caring, reliable individuals who are eager to learn and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.If you're looking for a rewarding career where you can positively impact others every day, we'd love to hear from you!Key ResponsibilitiesObtain and document residents' vital signs, reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse in accordance with each resident's Individual Service Plan (ISP).Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinence care, nutrition, ambulation, transfers, positioning, and medication reminders.Follow Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and daily assignment sheets while promptly communicating changes in residents' conditions to supervisors.Adhere to infection prevention protocols, including standard precautions and proper use of personal protective equipment.Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.Complete accurate and timely documentation of resident care and observations.Encourage residents to participate in activities that promote independence, engagement, and quality of life.Protect resident privacy by maintaining HIPAA confidentiality and following all community policies and procedures.Attend required in-service meetings, continuing education, and mandatory training sessions.Perform other duties as assigned to support resident care and community operations.QualificationsHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.At least six months of caregiving experience, preferably working with older adults.Completion of a medication management course (or ability to obtain if required).CPR certification within 90 days of hire.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to remain calm and professional in emotionally challenging situations.Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Compassionate, dependable, and committed to delivering high-quality resident care.BenefitsWe value our team members and offer a competitive benefits package, including:Competitive payShift differentials for PM and overnight shiftsHealth, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and 401(k) with employer match for full-time employeesPaid time offFlexible schedulingEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)On-demand pay optionsOpportunities for professional development and career advancement within a growing organizationAbout Jaybird Senior LivingAt Jaybird Senior Living, we believe every senior deserves exceptional care in a place they are proud to call home.
