Posted Salary Grade: Minimum $8.00 per hour Retirement: None Contact Person: Nikki Hart Job Summary/Basic Functions The Center for Student Involvement (CSI) is seeking motivated, dependable, and customer-focused Student Associates to help support the daily operations of the office and enhance the student experience on campus. Minimum Qualifications Must be currently enrolled as a student at EKU. Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. Preferred Qualifications: Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends to support campus events. Job Duties: Provide front desk coverage by greeting visitors, answering phones, and responding to general inquiries. - (Essential) Perform administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, copying, and maintaining office records. - (Essential) Help maintain the appearance, organization, and cleanliness of the CSI office and shared spaces. - (Essential) Assist with the planning, setup, execution, and breakdown of CSI programs, events, and activities. - (Essential) Assist with promoting CSI programs, services, and campus engagement opportunities. - (Essential) Support student organizations by providing information, and resources. - (Essential) Monitor and check out equipment, supplies, and event materials as needed. - (Essential) Perform other duties as assigned. - (Essential) Sponsorship: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
