Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in emergency care and be proficient in EPIC software. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Utilize EPIC software for patient charting and documentation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform triage assessments and prioritize patient care based on severity of illness.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort at all times.

Schedule

This is a night shift position from 7 PM to 7 AM, every other weekend.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room RN experience.
• Current New Jersey RN License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications.
• ATCN or TNCC certification required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
