Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (Per Diem)

Per Diem NNP - Level III and Newborn Nursery - 12-Hour Shifts

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced Per Diem Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) , Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) , or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our dynamic team at Wellington Regional Medical Center . This is a unique opportunity to support both our Newborn Nursery and expanding Level III NICU , while enjoying the lifestyle and amenities of one of South Florida’s most desirable communities.

Your Role at a Glance

Schedule : 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends
Staffing Model :
- 4.5 Neonatologists providing 24/7 in-house coverage
- 2.3 mid-level providers covering NICU during the day
- 1.5 mid-level providers covering the newborn nursery during daytime hours
Responsibilities :
- Care for full-term and late preterm infants in the newborn nursery
- Attend high-risk deliveries
- Oversee daily responsibilities in the nursery
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care
