Overview

We are seeking a Clinical Research Budget & Effort Analyst to support financial and operational workflows for clinical trials.

This role is responsible for building and maintaining study budgets and calendars in OnCore CTMS, ensuring accuracy across agreements, billing, and

financial systems, and supporting effort tracking and reconciliation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain clinical trial budget calendars in OnCore CTMS, including amendments

• Translate study protocols and agreements into accurate budget structures

• Partner with vendors to complete builds, resolve queries, and ensure quality control

• Conduct budget analysis to align agreements, billing designations, and system data

• Troubleshoot calendar builds, visit structures, and subject tracking issues

• Track and manage study staff effort allocation to support financial reconciliation

• Collaborate with finance, coverage analysis, and accounting teams to ensure data accuracy

• Support quarter-end effort tracking and reporting

• Assist with financial reconciliation, including agreements and vendor payables

Required Qualifications

· 3+years of Clinical Research Budget & Effort Analyst

• Hands-on experience with OnCore CTMS (calendar + budget builds)

• Strong understanding of coverage analysis and clinical trial billing

• Experience with clinical research financial workflows

• Strong communication skills (internal stakeholders and vendors)

• Experience in oncology clinical trials

• Background in financial analysis or clinical research operations

• Candidates must have recent, hands-on OnCore experience (non-negotiable)

• Role requires strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex financial workflows

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brookline, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.10 - $40.62/hr.
