Volt is immediately hiring for an Accounting Level 3/ Newark, NJ

As an Accounting:

• Someone with accounting investment experience preferred in the bond accounting, fixed income products
• Nice to have experience with PAM or any other accounting system.
• Must have a minimum of 6 years of experience.
• Must be able to manage a small team of 3-6 personnel and operate autonomously.
• Assists in conducting accounting services on behalf of assigned clients and funds including driving Service Improvement plans, targeting efficiencies, enhancing processes and specialist review functions, allocating expenses, and preparing reports.
• Degree in Accounting is required.

Responsibilities:

• Direct supervision of team members.
• Identify, implement, and perform key controls.
• Provide support, to business partners and key stake holders.
• Participate in internal and external audits.
• Thorough understanding of accounting related to investment activity in the PAM or any other accounting systems.
• Responsible for ensuring trade activity.
• Must be familiar with Oracle.
• Review of monthly requests for our various business partners across the company.
• Independently prioritize and lead various project work.

This is a Contract full time opportunity.

Pay Rate: $42.97 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
