Accounting Analyst - RTRKoch Engineered Solutions is seeking a strong Accounting Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting Records to Report (RTR) team in Wichita, KS. A successful candidate is highly motivated, self-driven, and has a passion for driving continuous improvement and transformation. The individual should have a solid understanding of accounting concepts, good critical and economic thinking, and strong communication skills. Candidates who exhibit senior-level capability may be considered for a Senior Accounting Analyst role.Responsibilities:Own monthly accounting processesAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual internal and external reportingIdentify and implement innovation or improvement opportunitiesAssist in implementation of new accounting standards, policies, and processesHelp maintain and improve internal controls, reporting processes, and audit readiness activitiesSupport the accounting impacts of mergers, acquisitions, liquidations, restructurings, and other legal entity transactionsRequirements:General Ledger knowledge and previous experience booking journal entries, accruals, and analyzing trial balancesKnowledge of general accounting principles and financial reportingExperience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysesProficiency in Excel, including data analysis and reconciliation toolsStrong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environmentBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldExperience working with multinational legal entities and cross-border transactions.Knowledge of foreign currency accounting, legal entity reporting, and statutory compliance requirements.Experience using OneStream, Power BI, Alteryx, or other data analytic and visualization toolsExperience with accounting consolidation including intercompany eliminations and consolidating international entities with foreign currenciesExperience in process innovation/transformation/implementationAs a Koch company, Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) is a dynamic network of businesses that work together to create an ecosystem of domain expertise to increase operational efficiency, improve safety, reduce waste, and reduce emissions.At Koch, employees are empowered to do what they do best to make life better.
