Mechanical Maintenance Technician
HiFyve is hiring a Mechanical Maintenance Technician in the Manufacturing industry in Kansas City, MO!
Salary: Up to $38/hr
Shift: Tuesday–Friday, 5:00 PM–5:00 AM
Location: Kansas City, MO
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment and fixtures
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks to minimize downtime
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with equipment
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve technical issues
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work environment
- Investigate recurring maintenance problems and recommend corrective actions
- Assist in continuous improvement efforts to enhance equipment performance
- Utilize manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting
- Provide support during equipment installations or upgrades
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Technical certification or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanics, or related field (preferred)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in industrial maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Familiarity with PLCs and automated systems (preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Willingness to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed
