Facilities Manager

Kforce has a client in Richmond, VA that is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee daily operations at a busy corporate site. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring the facility runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently while providing a high level of service to internal stakeholders. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly responsive, and takes ownership of issues from start to finish.Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and site services
• Manage and coordinate vendors, contractors, and building engineers
• Lead and support on-site staff, ensuring strong team performance and accountability
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations
• Manage facility budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Oversee services such as security, cleaning, and general site operations
• Respond quickly to facility-related issues and ensure timely resolution
• Conduct regular facility inspections and proactively address maintenance needs

• Experience managing facilities operations in a corporate or high-traffic environment
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and external vendors
• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service mindset
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced, high-demand setting
• Hands-on approach with a -figure it out- mentality when issues arise
• Experience with budgeting, vendor management, and operational oversight
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Nice to Have:

• Facilities-related certifications (CFM, FMP, etc.)
• Experience with facility management systems

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
