Austin, TX or Sunnyvale, CA Job Description Responsibilities:
• Must have an in-depth experience of GCP Identity Access Management and fine-grained access provisioning.
• Provisioning and de-provisioning GCP accounts and resources for internal projects.
• Work alongside development, DevOps and SRE teams to support transition and operation of GCP Services like Cloud Storage, Big Query, Google Kubernetes Engine, etc.
• Work with development team to design the GCP-specific cloud architecture
• Managing, and operating multiple GCP subscriptions
• Leveraging GCP operational best practices and ensuring to identify and close gaps if any
• Estimating GCP costs and identifying operational cost control mechanisms
• Keep technical documentation up to date
• Proactively being up to date on GCP announcements, services and developments
• Create automation, in order to streamline provisioning and de-provisioning services and processes Requirements:
• Must have a valid certification on either GCP Associate Cloud Engineer or GCP Professional Cloud Architect.
• Must have 3+ years of work experience on provisioning, operating, and maintaining systems over GCP
• Must have working experience on GCP services such as Identity and Access Management (IAM), BigQuery, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE),
• Composer UI, Storage and Monitoring.
• Must be capable to provide support and guidance on GCP operations and services depending upon enterprise needs
• Have a working knowledge of docker containers and Kubernetes.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Fast learner, Achiever, sets high personal goals
• Must be able to work on multiple projects and consistently meet project deadlines
