Exciting opportunities await dedicated School Psychologists in the Aurora, Naperville, and Oswego areas for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! Multiple contract positions are available in distinctive school settings, each fostering an environment that supports both professional growth and student well-being. Full-time roles begin August 10th, 2026, and extend through May 26th, 2027, with flexible scheduling options of 3 or 5 days per week—making this a perfect fit for those looking for a balanced work life.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist certification
- Experience with elementary or special education populations (varies by location)
- Strong understanding of MTSS, problem-solving, and crisis intervention
- Comfortable conducting student evaluations and participating in multidisciplinary teams
- Bilingual Spanish speakers encouraged (especially valuable in culturally integrated settings)
- In-person availability required; remote or hybrid work is not available
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations to support educational planning
- Provide targeted counseling or general support, depending on assignment (counseling caseloads may apply)
- Participate in MTSS, offer problem-solving strategies, and respond to crisis situations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Engage in classroom observations and contribute to a supportive learning atmosphere
