Lauderdale, Jacksonville • Service Setting: Outpatient Clinic • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: TBD • Clinical Shift Schedule: Minimum 14 patients/day (8-hour day) • On-Call Shift Schedule: As applicable PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adults • Patient Volume/Census: Minimum 14/day • Phone Consults: Yes • Case Mix: HIV Primary Care, Diabetes, Hypertension, COPD, Urgent Care FACILITY INFORMATION • EMR System: TBD • Office Equipment Available: Standard outpatient tools • Specialty Backup Available: Yes • Support Staff Available: Nursing, Care Managers, Front Office • Reason for Coverage: Provider Support PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Credentialing Timeline: TBD COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Competitive Salary • Retention and Quarterly Bonus • CME/Conference Time/Professional Membership • Vacation • Sick Leave REQUIRED PROCEDURES • Primary care management for common chronic and acute conditions • HIV/AIDS clinical care • Review of labs, imaging, and consultant notes • Medication refill authorizations JOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Valid medical license • Certifications: DEA, BLS, AAHIVM within 12 months of hire • Other Qualifications: Board Certification preferred DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide HIV Primary Care and manage common primary care conditions • Maintain productivity of 14 patients per 8-hour day • Ensure timely completion of notes and charge entries • Collaborate with nursing and front office for urgent care/walk-ins • Respond to refill requests and patient communication in a timely manner • Supervise allied professionals as applicable • Participate in after-hours call coverage as needed • Complete retention reports and support clinic retention efforts • Maintain certification and continuing educationaa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
