Registered Nurse (RN) - Director

Director of Postpartum

Full-time Days (No Weekends)

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing - REQUIRED

Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

Experience in labor and delivery/postpartum/mother baby unit required

Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role within L&D

Must have L&D or postpartum leadership experience (Supervisor or higher)

Ensure high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit.

Implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes.

Manage clinical practice variation to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and cost.

Develop and implement policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with legal/regulatory standards.

Foster interdisciplinary communication and ensure appropriate clinical competencies among staff.

Direct nursing practice and unit operations while assessing and evaluating patient and family needs.

97 bed oversight (postpartum & lactation)

241 FTE across postpartum & lactation, with 2 Postpartum Managers currently supporting the Director and plans to add a 3rd due to growth.
