Job Title: General Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced General Supervisor to provide technical support and direction to our team of technicians. This role involves supervising and directing technicians to meet service demands and customers’ expectations, while ensuring the efficient operation of equipment repair, installation, start-up, and operation.

• Supervise and direct technicians to effectively perform equipment repair, installation, and start-up.
• Regularly communicate with dispatch to ensure proper scheduling of personnel.
• Maintain daily communication with dispatch regarding project information, estimated completion times, labor hours, and parts or materials used.
• Keep in touch with vendors and factory personnel about warranty issues.
• Develop and monitor budgets, goals, and objectives to ensure departmental profitability.
• Oversee assigned service vehicles, ensuring they are maintained and operated according to company policy.
• Ensure service vehicles are in acceptable condition and that they have an adequate inventory of parts and materials.

• Five years of plumbing management experience.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of plumbing trades.
• Ability to read, interpret, and train on plumbing system manuals, schematics, and control circuits.
• Technical aptitude with knowledge of local codes and ability to find solutions.
• Excellent leadership skills to enhance team productivity.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and general software navigation.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Excellent customer service and sales skills.
• Strong conflict management skills.
• Desire for personal improvement and motivation of technicians.
• Personable and presentable with pride in workmanship.
• Ability and willingness to work a non-standard schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required.

This is a Permanent position based out of Covina, CA.

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
