Job Summary:
The role of MRI Technologist is based in Janesville, Wisconsin. This position involves performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position requires working Thursday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a call rotation as necessary to ensure high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Location: Janesville, WI
• Shift: ThursdaySaturday, 7:00 AM 7:00 PM, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited radiography program; ARRT Radiography registration; ARRT MRI registration; BLS certification; Wisconsin state license (candidate holds TX and AR licenses)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience as an MRI Technologist with over 6 years in acute, outpatient, and clinical settings; used Siemens, GE, Phillips MRI scanners; EMR experience with Epic and Cerner; trauma center level 3 experience; mobile units and inpatient units familiarity
• Certifications: ARRT Radiography registration, ARRT MRI registration, approved BLS certification
• Additional Information: Candidates may work flexible hours, alternate shifts, weekends, and call as needed; may need to flex hours/shifts to support department needs; performs venipuncture, administers contrast media, assists with interventional procedures, practices aseptic technique, evaluates image quality, and uses radiology information systems including PACS; initiates basic life support when necessary; provides instruction and support to patients and colleagues.
