Job Description
The Automotive Mechanic Technician plays a critical role in ensuring vehicles are safe, efficient, and reliable. Working within a small team, this role focuses on diagnosing and repairing a diverse range of vehicles including general automotive, electric and hybrid models, as well as heavy-duty vehicles. With minimal customer interaction, the technician primarily works during standard business hours to maintain vehicle performance and safety through expert diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle diagnostics to identify mechanical and electrical issues
- Conduct engine repairs and maintenance
- Inspect and repair brake systems
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure vehicle safety and performance
- Replace worn or faulty parts efficiently
- Maintain tools and equipment to industry standards
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in automotive repair
- Possession of a valid State Driver's License
- Proficient in engine diagnostics and brake system repair
- Skilled in electrical system troubleshooting
- Strong problem solving and attention to detail
- Effective time management abilities
- Knowledge and adherence to safety compliance standards
