Warehouse Associate (Cold Storage)We are seeking dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associates to join the team at Vesta Foodservice. This position supports daily warehouse operations within a temperature-controlled environment, handling food products and ensuring accurate, timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in cold conditions and performing physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced setting.Key Responsibilities:Lift, pull, and push boxes weighing 40–50 pounds on a consistent basisLoad and unload food products from trucks, pallets, and conveyor systemsAccurately pick, pack, and stage customer orders for shipmentOrganize inventory and maintain proper product rotation (FIFO when applicable)Ensure all products are handled in accordance with food safety and quality standardsMaintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including workstations and common areasFollow all company safety procedures and cold storage handling guidelinesWork as part of a team to meet daily productivity and shipping deadlinesReport damaged goods, discrepancies, or safety concerns to supervisors immediatelyRequirements:Must wear non-slip, closed-toe shoes at all times (required)Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shiftComfortable working in cold storage environments (refrigerated and/or freezer conditions)Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructionsReliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to communicate fluently (speak, read, & write) in Spanish and English.Schedule:Monday through SaturdayOne variable day off during the weekHours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (overtime may be required based on business needs)Work Environment:This position operates in a refrigerated and/or freezer warehouse environment. Proper protective clothing is recommended. Employees should be prepared for continuous physical activity and exposure to cold temperatures throughout the shift.
