Neurodiagnostic Technologist Level 1

The Neurodiagnostic Technologist Level 1 performs standard and complex neurodiagnostic procedures for patients with moderate supervision. Procedures are performed according to established standards and practices. The role includes providing technical assistance and training to students. All necessary documentation for departmental records and patient procedures must be completed. The Technologist supports all functions, goals, and objectives of the department. Development of any new programs that involve the Neurodiagnostic Lab and Epilepsy Unit is also part of the role. This position requires working weekends and holidays as needed. On-call duties are required. Familiarity with Natus and Nihon Kohden systems is preferred. The patient population includes pediatric and adult patients. Knowledge, skills, and abilities required include the ability to follow verbal instructions and communicate effectively verbally and in writing. A working knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft or Google productivity suite is expected. A high school diploma or equivalent, and an Associate's Degree in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology or equivalent is preferred.
