AI Engineer | US | Remote Location: Atlanta, GA. Job Type: Remote/On-site. Company: Travelport. Responsibilities: Design and build custom AI agents for travel data use cases (search, recommendations, automation). Architect and implement solutions using AWS services, including Amazon Bedrock and AgentCore. Partner with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into AI solutions. Develop and optimize LLM‑powered applications, including prompt design and orchestration. Apply machine learning and data analysis techniques to improve model performance. Assist in fine‑tuning and evaluating large language models. Build reliable, scalable systems for production use. Document designs and share best practices with the team. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, or related field. Hands‑on experience with AWS (especially Bedrock or similar AI services). Experience building or integrating AI/LLM‑based applications. Strong programming skills (Python or Java preferred). Understanding of machine learning basics, data analysis techniques, model evaluation and tuning. Experience working with APIs, microservices, and cloud‑based systems. Ability to work across teams and explain technical ideas in simple terms. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AWS AgentCore or similar AI orchestration frameworks. Knowledge of travel industry data (booking systems, pricing, search, etc.). Experience fine‑tuning LLMs or working with embeddings, vector databases. Familiarity with RAG (Retrieval‑Augmented Generation) architectures. Experience with data pipelines and large datasets. Compensation & Benefits: Salary: $110,000.
