$10,000 Sign-On Bonus available to well qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12, Nights (7p-7a), Rotating Weekends

More about our team

Our Vascular unit specializes in caring for patients with complex vascular and circulatory conditions, as well as general medical and post-surgical needs. Patients on this unit may include those with peripheral vascular disease, arterial and venous disorders, wound complications, post-operative vascular care, and chronic conditions requiring ongoing monitoring and education. Nurses work closely with vascular surgeons, hospitalists, wound care specialists, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Nurses on this unit are provided the opportunity to earn dialysis certification as part of their professional development.

How you'll contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current Alabama or compact state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS are required within six months of hire.
• Two-three years of experience preferred, new grads welcome to apply.
