Registered Nurse

A Registered Nurse is needed for a medical/surgical/telemetry unit. This position involves working night shifts for a duration of 13 weeks. The nurse will care for adult and geriatric patients. The patient population will primarily include observation patients, individuals with respiratory conditions, and general medical-surgical diagnoses. Nurses will also care for palliative, end-of-life, hospice patients, and those with complications related to diabetes. Successful candidates must be flexible with scheduling, as floating to other units may be required based on census. Candidates should be aware of and comply with a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences. The nurse will be responsible for managing various medical equipment and procedures, including BiPAP/CPAP, blood products, and telemetry monitoring. Candidates are expected to have skills in starting and maintaining IVs, wound care, and the interpretation of dysrhythmias. All travelers must meet compliance deadlines and pass the required EKG exam during onboarding. Additional interdisciplinary support will be available, including IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy. This position requires commitment to patient care and teamwork in a dynamic environment. Please ensure readiness to meet all compliance and documentation requirements in a timely manner.
