Registered Nurse Supervisor Operating Room

Your future role at a glance Location: Austin, TX Facility: Dell Seton Medical Center Department/Specialty: Operating Room Schedule: Evening | Full Time Board Runner Monday - Thursday 12p-10:30pm with on call rotation, holiday assigned on rotation. How you'll make an impact in this role Lead Licensed Registered Nurse team operations by coordinating staffing, patient assignments, and workflow to deliver safe, high-quality patient care throughout each shift. Assess patient care needs and coordinate direct patient care assignments, ensuring appropriate care delivery and positive outcomes for diverse patient populations. Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to nursing and support staff while promoting clinical excellence, compliance, and quality improvement initiatives. Responsible for ensuring daily service line needs are met, supporting the team through education, precepting, facilitating daily workflow, and equipment/supply needs. The OR supervisor aligns and partners with leadership in driving unit goals, safety/quality initiatives, patient and physician satisfaction, and in supporting a positive team culture. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. One or more of the following required: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
