Housekeeper

Housekeeper Position at Legacies VillageLegacies Village, located in beautiful Caledonia, MI, is looking for a Housekeeper to join our team! The right candidate will have previous housekeeping experience and have excellent communication skills. The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the facility for our residents and their families.ResponsibilitiesClean all bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories and fixtures in apartment and common areasVacuum carpeted areas and mop tile floorsSpot clean walls and windowsDust furniture and empty trash cansClean baseboards, pictures, lights and HVAC VentsHonor any additional housekeeping request made by the residents during the allotted timeAssist with picking up trashAssist with activity room set-ups, will require movement of furnitureReport any pertinent information to management directly related to the well-being of the residentPerform any additional housekeeping tasks as necessaryQualificationsAt least one year of housekeeping experience, requiredAbility to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in EnglishMust be able to speak and understand English to communicate with supervisors and residentsWe are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
