You'll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will establish process design basis, develop process options and optimizations of selected design, and calculate and organize data for process flow sheets. Your role keeps our company connected and we'll support you with what you need to be successful.Ideal candidate will be located in Latham, NY, or Moon Township PA but there is geographic flexibility for well-qualified candidates located near a Jacobs US office.As a Chemical Process Engineer, you will:Perform conceptual and detailed design for advanced manufacturing facilities.Use best practices and industry knowledge to solve complex engineering problems.Interface with other disciplines, project management, and the client to provide fully coordinated projects.Support field construction efforts, including reviewing submittals, responding to questions from clients and contractors, and performing field walks.Perform quality reviews on designs performed by others.Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on basic engineering applications and principles.Participate in the development of proposals, budgets, and schedules for process-specific work.Bring your curiosity, talent for multi-tasking and collaboration, and proven communication and organizational skills and we'll help you grow, pursue, and fulfill what drives you – so we can make big impacts on the world, together.Bring your creativity, ambitious spirit, and desire to bring value to your team, and we'll help you grow, pursue, and fulfill what drives you – so we can deliver extraordinary solutions for a better tomorrow, together.Here's what you'll need:Bachelor's degree in Chemical EngineeringAt least 4-5 years of chemical process engineering experienceEngineer in Training (EIT/FE)Visa Sponsorship is not available for this roleIdeally, you'll also have:Ability to work onsite (hybrid) in Moon Township, PA or Latham, NYProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseExperience in the design of semiconductor facilitiesStrong communication skills both verbal and writtenStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsForward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideasDemonstrated ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge baseAbility to work independently for core tasks and reach out for specialized expertiseAbility to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams with members based in various regionsPassion for engineering and developing solutionsThe base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 to $128,480.00.
