Treasury Analyst at Washington DC

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Treasury Analyst to support our financial operations. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing daily cash positions, analyzing investment activity, and providing senior leadership with the critical data needed for decision‑making. We are looking for an analytical professional who excels at data interpretation and can effectively communicate complex financial information to diverse stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Cash Management: Monitor and manage daily cash positions, short‑term forecasting, and cash flow needs. Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports, including Cash Note Reports, Investment Reports, and cash flow projections. Data Analysis: Reconcile cash accounts, track investment activities, and analyze financial records to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities. Systems & Documentation: Maintain treasury databases, post entries to ERP systems, and update departmental policies/procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Translate data into actionable charts and presentations for leadership, ensuring seamless communication across all levels of the organization. Required Qualifications Experience: 2+ years of experience in a treasury analyst or similar financial role. Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. Must be comfortable interpreting complex data sets and building financial models. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain financial insights clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Analytical Foundation: Solid understanding of cash and investment accounting principles. Candidate Requirements Presence: Must be based in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area. On‑Site Commitment: Must be willing to work from the Washington, DC office at least 3 days per week.
