Role Description The Manager In Training role is a full-time, on-site position based in Columbus, OH. This role prepares individuals to become restaurant managers by learning all aspects of daily operations, including supervising shifts, supporting team members, and ensuring excellent customer service. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing food quality and safety, managing cash and inventory, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The Manager In Training will assist with scheduling, training new associates, and reinforcing company policies and service standards. This position involves hands‑on work in the restaurant, problem‑solving in real time, and collaborating with leadership to reach sales and operational goals. Qualifications Ability to lead teams in a fast‑paced hospitality or food service environment, including coaching, motivating, and supporting associates. Strong customer service skills, with a focus on building positive guest experiences and resolving issues professionally. Basic business and operations skills, such as handling cash responsibly, monitoring inventory, and following food safety procedures. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well with diverse team members and customers. Willingness to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or restaurant management experience is a plus.
