Location: Dallas-Fort Worth, TX (Local Candidates Only)

Compensation: Up to $95,000 Base Salary + Gas Card

Travel: Required (Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, and Florida)

A growing commercial general contractor is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial renovation, tenant improvement, interior finish-out, remodel, and build-out projects throughout multiple states. The ideal candidate is a hands-on field leader with strong scheduling, subcontractor management, and computer skills who can effectively manage project documentation and reporting through construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site construction activities from project kickoff through completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and project schedules.
• Maintain jobsite safety, quality control, and project documentation.
• Conduct daily site meetings and communicate project progress to management.
• Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Utilize construction management software to track schedules, daily reports, project documentation, and field communications.
• Maintain accurate project records and reporting using company project management systems.
• Travel to project sites as needed throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, and Florida.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Superintendent experience within commercial construction.
• Experience managing commercial renovations, tenant improvements, interior finish-outs, remodels, or build-out projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Computer literate and comfortable utilizing construction management and project tracking software.
• Experience with platforms such as Forma, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Buildertrend, CMiC, Viewpoint, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar construction software .
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel as projects require.
• Must reside in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
