Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hour Days Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2+ years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: EKG/Cardiac Monitoring skills Respiratory assessment and support Medication titration experience Description: No block schedules. Serves a community with a 111-bed facility. Services include emergency care, family medicine, orthopedic joint replacements, Client, internal medicine, pediatrics, urgent care, laboratory, diagnostic imaging, and more. This facility is a teaching hospital. Located in an area known for beautiful recreational landscapes. Offers various outdoor activities including golf courses and parks. Convenient access to major U.S. hubs through local airport. Unit Information: The floor comprises 16 private rooms. Patient ratios are typically 1:4, with 1:3 accommodations for higher acuity patients. The Electronic Health Record system used is Paragon. The patient population includes geriatric and adult patients. Common diagnoses treated include alcohol detox, post-percutaneous coronary intervention, diabetic ketoacidosis, cardiac conditions, gastrointestinal issues, and the use of BIPAP. Ideal candidates should have a positive personality fit. Dress code consists of standard scrubs. Unprofessional attire is not permitted. Two weekend shifts are required within a two-week pay period. Call requirements may apply. Float requirements are expected.
