Claims Coordinator

Kelly is seeking a detail-oriented Claims Coordinator to join our team onsite, supporting a top luxury eyewear retailer. The ideal candidate will work at the Cincinnati Service Center in Mason, OH. This is a temporary assignment with competitive pay, supporting the Collections team and ensuring claims and payments are accurately managed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the ATB (Aged Trial Balance) process to improve collection rates, reduce bad debt, and assist in meeting quarterly reserve risk goals.
• Research, review, and resolve outstanding claims using internal queries and tools.
• Log and process claim denials, credits, overpayments, and potential refunds.
• Collaborate with Plan Owners, Payer Relations, and Finance for accurate processing and escalations.
• Handle resubmission of claims, monitor claims status, and track denials or payments.
• Complete write-offs, resubmits, calls, emails, and ensure all actions are documented for auditing.
• Identify payer trends and system issues affecting claims or collections.
• Work the "Payment Received After" query weekly to ensure accurate payment application.
• Provide high attention to detail and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• Prior experience in collections, billing, or claims processing, especially in a healthcare or insurance environment, highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and research skills; proficiency in Excel (including v-lookup) required.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High degree of integrity and attention to confidentiality.
