About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Director, Commercial Lead to join their mission of providing AI-powered security solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a high-performing commercial legal team, serving as a key legal advisor to sales and channel leaders, and playing a pivotal role in legal team strategy and operations. This role requires a seasoned negotiator with a strong record in closing complex enterprise and channel deals, a collaborative approach to cross-functional partnerships, and a passion for building scalable systems. The Senior Director will also be instrumental in monitoring legal and regulatory developments, designing scalable contracting frameworks, and ensuring that the company's GTM strategies are supported by the right policies and infrastructure. Applicants for this role at the company should have a JD and be admitted to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, with a preference for those with international legal experience. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of relevant legal experience, particularly in enterprise SaaS or AI-enabled technology, and a proven ability to manage and scale a legal team. Operational excellence, proactive system building, and strong interpersonal skills are essential. The role demands a service-oriented, responsive, and professional individual with a strong sense of integrity, who is comfortable navigating multiple priorities and is adept at making thoughtful, collaborative decisions.
