Job Description
We're looking for a dependable Welder to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for welding and fabricating metal components while following blueprints and production specifications. If you have manufacturing experience, enjoy hands-on work, and take pride in producing quality work, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Operate welding equipment to join and fabricate metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and production specifications
- Set up and operate fabrication equipment, including drill presses, punch presses, saws, shears, brakes, grinders, and other machinery
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, smooth, and finish metal
- Perform welding and fabrication according to quality standards
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
- Assist with other production duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous welding and metal fabrication experience required
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
