Paradise Valley Estates (PVE) is a 76 acre, premier life plan community located in the foothills of Napa Valley in Fairfield, California. Working under the supervision of the Business Office Manager, the Receptionist will direct incoming telephone calls, acts as receptionist, and performs other related duties as required. Responsible for keep­ing a daily log of residents who leave or return from hospitals.

Job Responsibilities and Competencies:

• Exercise good public relations skills by greeting all residents, vendors, and guests by directing where appropriate.
• Deploy superb interpersonal relationship skills by communicating in a constructive, polite, and courteous manner.
• Follows policies and procedures to ensure consistent services and minimize errors.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills; helping others, finding work when assigned tasks are complete.
• Answer all phone lines, directing calls where appropriate.
• May need to monitor and act as incident command for emergent situations.
• Be willing to cross train in other areas such as security and logistics.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• Self-motivated individual with an ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong time management and problem solving skills.
• Ability to maintain poise and professional appearance
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and deal with frequent interruptions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Prior experience preferred but not required.
