Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Interventional Radiology will provide patient care in a procedure-driven environment focused on minimally invasive procedures. This role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients during procedures.
• Assist in interventional radiology procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, port placements, and perm catheter placements.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
• Collaborate with IR techs and radiologists to deliver quality care.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR system (Meditech).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• Experience with moderate sedation is a must; candidates not certified may receive certification at the facility.
• Preferred experience in Interventional Radiology.
