Job Overview A law firm seeks a Trust and Estate Attorney to join their practice in Santa Rosa, CA. The role involves providing comprehensive legal services in estate planning, tax planning, trust administration, and probate. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive estate plans, including drafting wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. Advise on tax-efficient strategies for wealth transfer, including gift and estate tax planning. Guide beneficiaries and trustees on trust administration, ensuring compliance and managing assets. Assist clients through the probate process, managing estate assets and distributing to beneficiaries. Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering tailored legal advice and support. Requirements License to practice law in California with no record of discipline. 1-6 years of experience in Trusts and Estates in California. Knowledge or willingness to learn related business and real property issues, and tax expertise. Excellent writing, communication, and technical skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Interest in living in Sonoma County preferred. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications: California Bar License. Skills Superior analytical, drafting, writing, and research skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
