Test Technician -Bench

Job Summary The Test Technician - bench is responsible for performing verification testing on circuit boards and various assemblies. Key Responsibilities Perform testing and troubleshooting with basic meters on uninterruptible power systems equipment, such as inverters, rectifiers, chargers, static switches, AC regulators and associated equipment. Basic circuit analysis. Interpret schematics and assembly prints. Perform verification testing on circuit boards and various assemblies. Any additional tasks as deemed necessary. Minimum Qualifications At least 5 years of experience in power electronics, with a technology background, versatile hands‑on abilities and good analytical skills. Experience with 480 VAC 3‑phase and 240 VDC power and fundamentals of DC/AC principles and electrical language. Associate’s degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Diploma or Certificate in an electronics program, or equivalent experience or military equivalent experience. Desired Qualifications Electrical and mechanical aptitude with basic soldering skills (through‑hole and SMT), electro/mechanical assembly, and proficiency with hand tools. Knowledge of multimeters and other basic instruments; familiarity with oscilloscopes, component testers, and digital test equipment. Ability to read wiring diagrams, assembly prints, schematics and parts lists, and an understanding of electronic circuits. Computer literacy and basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel. Team‑oriented, self‑managed, multitasking ability, and strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of AC/DC power electronics and willingness to work with high voltages up to 480 VAC 3‑phase and 240 VDC. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
