Job Title: Production Machine Operator

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

Schedule/Shift: 1st Shift 8am - 4pm

Summary


Our client in Hampshire, IL is seeking a 1st Shift Production Machine Operator to join their manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain production equipment while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process. This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing experience who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up production equipment and prepare supplies prior to running job orders
• Operate machinery safely and efficiently during production
• Load coils, remove scrap and paper waste, and unload finished coils
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify needed repairs or potential malfunctions
• Follow all company safety procedures and equipment operation policies

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of manufacturing or warehouse experience
• Previous experience as a machine operator, forklift/warehouse associate, or production worker
• CNC, furnace, or overhead crane experience is a plus
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
