ZHealth Specialist I

The ZHealth Specialist I is an entry-level, internally facing execution role responsible for performing assigned work accurately and compliantly within established workflows. This role supports internal service delivery across coding and content-related workstreams under defined review and escalation structures. What You’ll Do / Responsibilities Primary role would be production ICD-10-CM diagnosis coding for facility outpatient coding. Ability to advance within the ZHealth internal structure to CPT/HCPCS production coding, and other consulting projects. Perform assigned work within internal service areas such as prior authorization, remote coding, research, and administrative clerical functions/support. Apply ICD-10-CM guidance accurately when coding is required. Follow established protocols, quality standards, and timelines. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in facility medical coding preferred, or relevant healthcare administrative experience. Foundational knowledge of ICD-10-CM and payer guidance required, with CPT/HCPCS preferred. A coding credential preferred (such as CPC, CPC-A, or CCS) or equivalent experience. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
