Cath Lab (Cardiovasc Invasive Specialist)

Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring Cath Lab (Cardiovasc Invasive Specialist) Position type: Full-time - Contract Duration: 13 weeks contract Location: Dallas, TX Shift: 4x10s, 0700-1730, On Call required (1 day per week; 1 wknd every 6 weeks; 1 week no call) As a Cath Lab (Cardiovasc Invasive Spec), you will:

• The Cardiovascular Invasive Technician is responsible to surgically scrub in and assist with equipment. Assists the Cardiovascular Invasive Specialists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures is a secondary assignment.
• Prepares room and equipment, transports, and monitors patients. May handle medications in accordance with responsibilities.
• Assists Physicians with arteriograms/catheterizations, permanent pacemaker implantations, diagnostic and interventional, peripheral, and coronary, interventional, and thrombolytic therapy.
• Related duties include: preparing and maintaining sterile 1 fields for lab procedures; printing film and calculating stenosis on peripheral cases; circulating in procedure rooms and collecting data on appropriate forms; monitoring patient's ECG and vital signs while in Catheterization Lab, notifying Physician of variances, and providing emergency procedures (CPR, defibrillation, etc.) as needed.
• Performs pre-and post-procedure care.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2 years minimum experience, Cath, IT, Vascular and EP cases.
• BLS (AHA Only), ACLS (AHA Only), RCIS or ARRT (R) & TX MRT
