Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Labor and Delivery (L&D) to join a specialized unit located in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position involves delivering high-quality patient care within a supportive clinical environment, including the ability to care for COVID-19 patients as needed. The RN will work scheduled shifts and participate in a team committed to maternal and neonatal health.

Job Details:

• Location: Lebanon, PA
• Position: Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery (L&D) Department
• Schedule: 3X12 shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) all certifications are required
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience in Labor and Delivery settings, including EMR experience with Epic, and patient ratios of 4:1 in Labor and Delivery unit
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license (no license hits accepted), Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience, at least 2 years of clinical experience in labor and delivery, certifications in BLS and ACLS, and experience with adult cardiac arrest, antepartum, postpartum, hysterectomies, and neonatal resuscitation strategies
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with community hospital postpartum care, trauma Level I or II experience, and advanced certifications such as AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses)
• Additional Information: Candidate should be willing to care for COVID patients. Tobacco and fragrance-free environment. The facility prefers minimal RTO (Request Time Off) of 7 days maximum.
• Call and Weekend Requirements: Call required; weekends are part of regular schedule, with four patient ratios during weekends
• Unit Details: Involves caring for neonates and adults, managing a daily census of approximately 8 patients, with 12 rooms and 14 beds
• Vaccination Requirements: COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are required; medical and religious exemptions are permitted for some vaccines
• Other Practical Details: Tobacco and fragrance-free facility; provider prefers candidates who can handle COVID-19 patient care as needed
