Maintenance Mechanic

Job Full Description

Express is looking for a reliable Maintenance Mechanic for one of our great Canton clients. The role will include trouble-shooting hydraulic systems and pneumatic systems
Perform fabrication, welding, torch cutting, light carpentry duties and other maintenance functions as required.


*pay is based on experience*

Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years experience as a heavy industrial millwright and/or maintenance technician

Maintenance Mechanic Highlights:


• Install, maintain, repair or rebuild complicated machine tools and special purpose machines and plant equipment under minimal supervision


• Possess a good knowledge of hydraulic circuits, pneumatic circuits, as well as the ability to read and comprehend mechanical blueprints and schematics


• Disassemble problem equipment and determine extent of repairs necessary; repair, refit, or replace worn or defective parts


• Overnight; rotating shift (7PM - 7AM)


• Experience as a welding/fabricating technician skilled in SMAW, MIG, and TIG

What We Look for:


• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals


• Ability to lift loads of 50 lbs. several times per shift


• Strong attention to detail


• Ability to stand/walk for most of your shift
