QPS Employment Group is hiring a Material Handler for a company in Elgin, IL. In this role, you'll play a vital role in supporting the production process by efficiently managing material flow and ensuring seamless operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a safety-focused environment and contribute to the success of the manufacturing team.

Material Handler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist inspectors and packers with the transportation and handling of approved products and supplies
• Grind and process raw materials as part of daily operations
• Complete and maintain accurate material documentation to ensure traceability and compliance
• Maintain company standards and follow all safety policies to promote a safe working environment
• Stage materials needed for injection molding machines, including preparing packaging at the end of production runs
• Operate and clean grinders, dryers, hoppers, loaders, presses, cleaning rooms, and filters to maintain equipment efficiency
• Mix resin and other materials accurately according to specifications
• Participate in daily improvement meetings, shift huddles, plant-wide meetings, and book clubs to foster team communication and continuous improvement

Material Handler Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous warehouse/material handle experience preferred
• Basic math skills for measurement and documentation
• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude
• Hands-on worker with the ability to follow safety procedures meticulously
• Ability to lift at least 55 pounds comfortably
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
