Annual Compensation: $185,000 to $230,461
Key Responsibilities:
As a Navy Public Health Dentist, youâll focus on improving oral health outcomes at the population level while supporting the readiness of Sailors and Marines. Youâll analyze oral health trends across military populations, develop and implement prevention programs, support community-based dental initiatives, and advise leadership on public health strategies. Youâll also help coordinate care delivery models that improve access, reduce disease burden, and support long-term force readiness.

Minimum Requirements:
- DMD or DDS from a CODA-accredited U.S. program
- Completion of a Dental Public Health residency (or equivalent training / in final year)
- Board certified or board eligible in Dental Public Health (or in final year)
- U.S. Citizenship
- Between the ages of 21 and 57 (Federal Law: Title 10 U.S. Code section 531 and 532)
